Strangely enough, I have a Siamese cat named Henry that actually has almost all of the traits that were described at the end of this advertisement laden rambling. Also, if I want a replica Rolex, I'm going to go to Tijuana to get it...

The Man Who Fell In Love with the Moon - Tom Spanbauer

This is definitely one of the strangest, if not the strangest book that I have ever read. That being said it is also pretty damn mind-blowing as it looks at life in a way that I have never done before. It contains some of the most graphic sex and violence I have ever read, but when I think of the book as a whole those things don't come to mind. If you are not easily offended and enjoy reading books "off the beaten path" then you should really check this one out. If anyone has ever read this one before, I'd like to know what you thought.

The Stranger - Albert Camus

This is a pretty short one that you could power through in a day or two. It's about a guy that is a true Nihilist. He is completely devoid of emotion at almost all times and because if this he seemingly cannot lie or judge others and is essentially condemned. The entire book leads up to a pretty good final scene where he discusses his philosophy with a Christian priest.

This is a nice short read for people who are interested in religion / philosophy and will probably present something you haven't seen before.
