Can't believe they're playing Available again and I'm now really gutted I didn't get tickets for the London gig, didn't know whether I'd be on holiday or not at the time of the tickets going on sale, guess I'll just have to wait til a UK tour next year then.

Also a little bit worried that they might have got rid of Wake Up Your Saints all together after seeing that they haven't played it again recently, would be pretty upset if it wasn't on the album as even though I've only heard it in low quality, I think it could potentially be one of my favourites.

QUOTE (Mozart Face @ August 06, 2009 05:57 pm)
I just got excited about London reminiscing of the last time I saw the guys live. It'll be weird in a sit-down venue but in a weird way I'd actually most like them to play Wake Up Your Saints. I hope they don't drop that one.

Yeah, they haven't played that or England again (which I also really like, especially the piano), but I'll be devastated if Believe Me doesn't ever see the light of day since the bootleg is such horrible quality. Loved the horns on that one.

Am I right that Doveman and Padma were with them this past week but no horns at all, right? I guess that may have affected the setlist as far as some of the new songs go (including Wake Up Your Saints)... Though they seem to be adept at writing out horns and having Padma add more melody.

Can't wait to hear Padma and the horns and the piano all together when the album comes out!

No, there were definitely horns (although I must admit that because it was more a concert venue than a gig venue - i.e. all-seater, I anticipated possibly more instruments than ever before. Everyone stood up and went as far forward as they could anyway so it soon felt like a normal gig!).

Doveman wasn't in London as far as I could see though.

I'd also love to hear England again, and was sure they'd play it, you know, in England? Really enjoyed Vanderlylle but can't say I'm the biggest Blood Buzz Ohio fan...

Unbelievably good gig though.
