So what does everyone around here spend their days with?

I am currently in school. It was my first day today of my last year in school here.

I'm a student at Lunds University, and I'm "studying" something called System-science (Systemvetenskap in swedish. I know, it's a crappy translation), which has something to do with computers.
But I'm working in elder-care on the side to afford CDs and booze.

Another student here. Well, I will be in a month, when I move from my island home to Exeter to start studying English. I'm MEANT to be stacking shelves for a few weeks to bring in a few hundred quid to go away with, but I've been dicked around to no end on that one. So currently I'm a total bum.

I once had a bright future, I studied at Uppsala Universitet to be a "Master of Engineering", but i hated it so now Im making sandwiches at a shitty factory in a small town, which I hate even more. Im not pleased with my life. I probably wont stay there much longer though, Im on the edge of loosing it with that place.

I've always gotten the sense of you being on the verge of going postal. And I know exactly what that place is like. I'd say you get out of their real soon.

Over the past 7 years I've been a construction worker, line cook, library page, baristo, and a drifter. Currently, I'm about one week away from resuming my career as a college student. My ambition is to pursue an English major with an emphasis in teaching and journalism.

I'm just another angsty teenager who's still in school and hates it...

Student as well. Nottingham Trent university in the UK. I'm hoping to go into music journalism, but once that all falls through, I'll probably end up behind a desk.

I'm the inventory manager (think large, heavy, dirty boxes) for a large independent book, music and DVD store. Once in a while I even get to sell CDs that I like.

I decide, and help others to decide, whether or not unaccompanied children can get asylum in the UK.

I'm a qualified engineer, but serious illness has forced me to take another career path, so I'm a student(mature) doing a part time computer course. I'll probably go back to the engineering grindstone eventually, but who knows what'll pan out.

I work for a European Commission project that aims to get companies in similar areas of technological innovation to work together. It's ok, I'm off to Athens next month so musn't grumble!
