Big lover of red wine when drinking at home. Can't pretend I'm much of a connoisseur, as long as it's red and costs more than £4 a bottle I have a great time.

Lager of choice = Kronenbourg 1664

Ale of choice = Newcastle Brown Ale

If I'm out on the town it's normally lager, followed up by dark rum & coke towards the end of the evening.

Drink a lot less than I used too now though. Having a very young child and a raging hang over do not mix well. Trust me on that.

Michigan brewery Bell's does some of the best beer I've ever had. Their summer wheat ale (Oberon) is absolutely excellent, I also like their Amber Ale and Two-Hearted Ale. I have absolutely no head for liquor...

Erdinger is my beer of choice - worth a purchase at least because of the spectacular glass. But if I'm going heavy I'd probably pick Southern Comfort and Lemonade, although I hate the term "SoCo". Yeesh.

beer! my poison is beer. carlton, tooheys, xxxx. beer tastes so good. i assume majority of you guys are in the states. do you guys get any australian beer?

Just Fosters around here, and it's always canned, and I don't like canned beer so I haven't tried it.

im the same, i dont drink canned beer either. i think fosters is the only beer here i havnt tried. i know it has been around since forever, vintage. will have to give it a go. if i ever buy a winning lottery ticket and a vessell i will come over and bring numerous kegs of xxxx / tooheys / carlton

I've not yet met an Australian who admits to drinking Fosters. They all laugh at us poms for thinking it is....

Not a big fan of XXXX, but Tooheys is very drinkable, as is Crown Gold.

Well as an Australian, I've only tried Fosters a couple of times and it is like drinking chlorine. I prefer (it being mid-winter at the moment in Ade-HELL-laide) something a bit thick and stodgy like a pint of Coopers stout or dark ale. Aside from that fortified wine, tequila and vodka are my poisons of fancy.

i've drank so much Gin and Tonic this year.. i think its ruining my brain.
