Hmm, Ive only listened to it a few times and its a mix of good uptempo songs and boring slow songs.

Good songs - An End Has A Start, Bones, The Racing Rats. I can pretty much leave the rest, maybe I need to listen to them a bit more to take hold but at the moment this CD is in real danger of getting chucked out on the pile and slowly working its way to the bottom, which would be a shame as I really liked The Back Room.

I'm going to see the band in the autumn so maybe the slower songs will make more sense then, or, or as I suspect, I will use them as a helpful interlude to go to the bar.

they only have been doing An End Has A Start, Bones, The Racing Rats, Escape the Nest, Weight Of the World and Smokers... live. Smokers sounds massive live aswell.

they might start playing more later but its been pretty much those 6 and the rest of the set off the backroom plus a b-side or two (you are fading - which if you havent heard i suggested you find an mp3 of it immediately as its one of their best, best songs, and a new b-side)..

it is a grower that album you know! heh

I love that song, and its followed by The Cedar Room on the album which is such an immense song.

I'm currently listening to the current LCD Soundsystem album.
