Hmm. Three posts about Coupling in a row, maybe it is worth checking out? What is the show built around?

It's like the English version of Friends in that it revolves around 6 friends who get together, hence 'Coupling'. The main difference though is the comedy is a little bit raunchier, shall we say (those who've seen the Melty Man episode will understand what I mean), but there are a lot of laugh out loud moments. Just make sure you watch the early series, because once Jeff left, the series fell apart.

P.S. Sorry for the double post.

I totally agree, i think i watched the first episode without jeff in it then i just never watched any more...''

coupling mostly discuss problems like the melty man (impotens), how you get naked without being a "naked man in socks" and how to trick someone to liking you. I cant describe it, partially becasuse of my english vocabulary and partly cos im drunk... just see the first episode, thats a recommendation!

If you don't like the first two minutes then you won't like the programme. But I found it really funny and was hooked.

P.S. Here's a link for the first two minutes of the first episodes of Californication:

That was awesome! laugh.gif

Double post, but whatever....

Im halfway through the first (and so far only?) season of Californication and I just felt that it was time to get back here and say thanks. thanks.

to those of you who havn't yet seen this nice and warm production, I strongly recommend you do.

No worries at all. Yeah it's the only season, hopefully there will be more that maintain the standard of writing. I couldn't recommend it higher either.

I'm going to ask my Darkplace question again, did anyone watch it? One of the funniest programmes I've ever seen.
