Finally, we are having a bit of a BLOW OUT SALE on many of our current tshirts in our online shop! This will be the last printing of many of these designs, so get them while they, and the sale, last ...
I have to say, as terrible as it was, the Mexico joke made me laugh.

This pre-sale on the REM website was a big disappointment. I was on the site at 10:00am and couldn't score a pair. Granted, I am thrilled that they have the opportunity to tour with them, but it makes getting tickets a bitch.
Looks like 2008 might be National-free for me, dammit.

All Bay Area National fans-
I got tix through LiveNation, internet presale, (available yesterday and today), secret code word MURMUR.
The concert at the Greek in Berkeley is fully reserved (except for the pits??).
Good luck fighting all the REM fans to see Matt etal.
Pattyinsf Brainy!

Got third row for Toronto thanks to a kind soul on the murmurs.com REM forums

I picked up some lawn tickets for a show, I would have liked to get some seats but I know some other people going so it wouldn't have worked out. Can't wait to see The National in such a big venue.
whoneedslight- 04-05-2008
I got Atlanta tix! Woo hoo!
starbright31- 04-05-2008
Thank goodness for today's presale! I got a closer spot than I did from R.E.M.'s presale!
But now I've got an extra ticket to the Hollywood Bowl if anyone's interested! It's one ticket located in section D, row 15 (great spot that's in the same row of the terrace box level). I'm selling it for face or even a little bit less. Email me at reneebarrera@gmail.com if you want it.

scored seats for the maryland show, pretty excited!
Pattyinsf- 04-11-2008
Hi All-
The Greek in Berkeley added a second show Sun June 1.
I got tix (not as good as for Sat.) but am excited to see The National 2x.
The advertising makes it look like The National are first, Modest Mouse 2nd. Sounds wrong to me, but oh well.
Only regretting the necessarily shorter set-
PattyinSF
still brainy

heh, the only thing is Modest Mouse are huge in the US - i'm guessing the fact the last record was a #1 probably means they have a bigger audience and hence are main support.
Michael Stipe was talking recently about their support bands .. apparently The National are the only ones he's really seen before!
