My memory is not great, but I think the Stoke gig set list was the same as Nottingham, BUT added in Wasp's Nest and Murder Me Rachel, which was nice, especially as I shouted for Wasp's Nest earlier in the gig!

Here is the setlist from their 10/12/2006 show in San Francisco (from a picture I took of the setlist at the show):

Anthem
West Virginia

Any idea what these 2 songs are?

judging by the setlist, i'm guessing they would have infact been two of Mistaken For Strangers, Squalor Victoria and Racing Like A Pro... which are all absent from the set...

Do you guys bring pen and paper to the gig to write down the set list? smile.gif
I have to be prepared laugh.gif

Given it's a concert from the end of 2006, most of Boxer is missing. Remember when Boxer was first streamed on Myspace some of the tracks were labelled incorrectly??? (see thread on forum) Slow Show was labelled as Anthem - so that clears up that lttle mystery!

As for West Virginia - You've Done it Again Virginia??? Perhaps abbreviated so it fits on the set list.

I'll be prepared then. Now I just need to really learn the name of the songs, which is a pleasurable thing, allthough I am allways so bad at it.

zoe- 07-19-2007
i just end up making a determined effort to get one after the show finishes...

(*smug* i think the first two times i saw 'em, and latitude, are the only exceptions.

i'm gonna start keeping them in a pink folder in the middle of my table....)

my guess is that "west virginia" was the working title for "tall saint". the youtube video of tall saint is from the fall 2006 San Francisco show and since there are no other songs unaccounted for on the setlist that would be my guess.

Why don't they play Geese more often? It's their best song to date and I can't see any reason not to play it. blink.gif
