Matt seemed much happier and more comfortable on stage than the last time I saw them, I love how he's kind of awkward and almost uncomfortable about being onstage

Yeah, it's part of his charm. wink.gif In A Skin, A Night he talks about how nervous he still gets when he performs...

Blank Slate ohmy.gif . See, why couldn't they just give us one normal night in some nice London venue instead of playing bloody Wireless.

Definitely no City Middle, would have been nice to have heard that again as I've only heard it at Koko a couple of years ago and they kind of lost it half way through - shame as its one of my favourites.

yeah, i want to hear it as its my favourite song (well, tied with Geese).... they did it on the 2nd night in London (with Looking For Astronauts) in Nov... but I didnt go due to money/probably not being able to cope with it emotionally! tongue.gif

Here's a review of the first night of the REM tour (Vancouver 5/23), with a positive mention (only a couple of sentences) about T.N. towards the end. It mentions that they are touring as an eight-piece, with the horn section.

oo good set considering they're only doing 40 minutes or whatever. I guess it'll be similiar to the Arcade Fire shows.

About Today

I've also never seen a non-headlining band perform an encore at a festival before, but the crowd wouldn't leave the side stage to go see Modest Mouse.
