Before they played Karen they said that they were now going to play a song that they didn't play very often.
I was sooo nervous

Has anyone got the setlist from yesterday's gig in Copenhagen? The gig was ok, though the band seemed a bit tired.. They played Karen also! For some reason they opened with 'Slow Show', in general I didn't like the setlist.

Though... the lyrics are perfect to the final song of a concert, but they must have radically changed Start a War to finish off, or?

I remember that not long ago they used to end the gigs with "Abel" and I remember thinking it was because the song messed up Matt's voice and that was it.
And it's such a great song to finish a concert too. : )

i talked to aaron about it before the barcelona gig. he told me its really difficult for matt, cause the song starts way up, and runs on particular notes. he also said they played it once (cant recall where) and it was crap. i lauched my arguments: i don't go to a gig to listen to photocopies of lps. its rock n roll, its imperfection bla bla. and thats what they r. at the end, the most it could happen would be a great singalong from the crowd. fuck it, we can sing. (aaron was charming and claimed he was almost convinced)

on the other hand, dear boys: go home, have lots of jack and coke, and give it a practice! thats (also) how u keep it upstairs!

amazing song, and i'll sing it at every gig. they will play it!
