I got a bit anxious for having the KEXP performance on my iPod, so I encoded the show myself. Its my first try at encoding, so be gentle, but I did it off the 1.4 mbps uncompressed stream - and encoded it to the highest Blaze would let me (192kbs).

As for the show, it was different from their normal radio performances, as Scott was not there to play bass (the bus left without him?) and the songs were a stripped down version of their norm.

The National @ KEXP broken out into individual MP3's. Added track numbers, year and album art from KEXP. Hope the link works, it's my first try using savefile.

Interesting tidbit in the interview section. They are working on putting together a release of live songs from different shows. Not sure if it was a DVD or a CD.

I got the feeling that the live stuff was for a cd, and the making of boxer was a dvd. I think both would be good for a DVD.

A live National disc would be great I think they've seen at least a demand from the fan for this.

Absolutely. Give us something to gnaw on until the next album. Plus their live performances always add something new to the songs, unlike a lot of bands.
