ITS FROM ME...NOT A WEB SITE. and its from them playing at something called The Fopp (whatever the hell that is) from May of o7.
BUT DONT DOWNLOAD IT!!!!!!
I screwed up and put the wrong one up...that file is a file that quicktime cant understand, so it wont play.... i have the right file,,but i cant find it on my computer(one of the perils of having over 200,000 songs and 600 videos). so while you wait for me to find that...heres a video (also from my computer) that somebody did to The National's Slow Show... i downloaded it from Youtube... and its clips from the Jean Luc Goddard film "Masculine Feminine". its pretty cool..except for a loud crash from the movie just before the guy walks into the restaurant.
ill try to find the Slow Show performance as soon as i can.

i've almost filled up my computer with all this stuff... but is it possible for anyone to post zips or rars of the shows from bonnaroo 2007 and the spin session in 2005?
Four songs: Apartment Story, Slow Show, Mistaken For Strangers, & Start a War.
A few weeks ago I posted a 2007 Sirius radio session, but unfortunately there was a glitch during "Slow Show". Sirius broadcast the session again today so I re-recorded that one song in case anyone is interested in an upgrade. Here's the link:
The National was on WOXY today. Set list includes: 1) Apartment Story 2) You've Done It Again Virginia 3) Mistaken For Strangers Nice interview about Boxer's success, etc. Should be up in MP3 format on WOXY's site in a few days.
They were also on MPR's The Current. They have the stream up on the MPR site. Band played 3 songs.... 1) Racing Like a Pro 2) Apartment Story 3) Fake Empire
Anyone has a link to a MP3 for this one? Please?

Awesome, The National's WOXY set is already available in MP3 at.... So Much Silence
mistakenforfamous- 09-24-2007
i couldnt connect to So Much Silence via that link... so i got it from another one.....
here's their performance and interview on WOXY on one 20 minute track..... its very cool..... especially Apartment Story.
side note....Berninger fucks up the beginning of "Youve Done It Again Virginia" and has to start it over.
The So Much Silence link worked, but the http:// was put in twice, so once you delete one of them it works fine. Having said that, it's probably easier to click Mistakenforfamous' link now, but if you want the songs as separate tracks, then follow the So Much Silence link.

Loved Mistaken for Strangers. It's curious Aaron's surprise when Beggars Canada tells them Boxer outsold Alligator. Of course it did! People where waiting for it for almost 2 years! And the next album will probably outsell Boxer - at least I hope it will.
Matt said some concerts fall apart (it's only natural, touring like "crazy"...). I'm starting to believe ours did (in Portugal). And I'm very hopeful about watching one who doesn't.

Sorry about the link. As noted, I pasted the "http" part twice.
The WOXY site also has some pictures, which if you like adding album art like I do, are worth checking out.

Mistakenforfamous - Fopp is a music retailer located in England. They like to have in-store performances, which is where that video came from.
They played two songs at Fopp... Ada Gospel
I have Mp3's of both, but the sound quality is pretty bad.

I have mp3's of an acoustic session they did on some French radio station: "You've Done Again Virginia," "Ada," and my favorite "Gospel."
If you want them, tell me how to get 'em to you, cause I've never used Sendfile or whatever.
The sound quality is real good, real real good.

dear i was the scarecrow....
i was once like you..... afraid of technology. uncertain of how id fit in in this worlds scary future. out of place..alone trembling in the digital age. but its pretty friggin simple. and now i will teach you.
go to sendfile.com select upload file and select the ones you want to upload (Which would be your french files) when its one uploading...youll see a http address(to give people a direct link to this file...etc..) drag over the http address till its highlighted and then right click on it and select "copy". then go to this board and hit "paste". thats it.... once we see it on the board we can get at it....cool. welcome to the brave new world.
