Official(ish) live/rarities thread

HERE'S SOMETHING FOR ALL YOU NATIONAL FANS!!!!!

This is the band's set from the Seaport Music Festival in New York on August 18th 2007. It was recorded from 30 feet in front of the right PA stacks using DPA unidirectional microphones. It was a rainy and shitty day, and there were a few technical problems with Peir 17's soundsystem. Everytime Berninger tried to sing superloud to match the band's intensity...his mike would crack. But thats only occasionally. It sounds great, and the band played wonderfully. Enjoy this wonderful performance and Merry Early Christmas to you all.

Mistakenforfamous, thanks sooooo much. It takes a little bit of the sting out of knowing that my 2007 National tour has come to an end. But I did get to see four shows, so I shouldn't complain.

My iPod is beginning to look embarrassing. I feel like a Deadhead or something.

but still...the ultimate acquisition for me would be the "Mission On The Hill" cover they did at the Springsteen tribute to Nebraska. Thats insane....but i dont think there's a recorded version out there....at that same show they played with The Boss himself, also, covering a Woody Guthrie song.
i would kill for both of them.

if you look very carefully at this performance by Feist on Late Show with David Letterman..... Youll notice Dessner and Devendorf singing in the choir behind her with members of Grizzly Bear....and others. Cool song as well. figured id put it up.
