Ah that makes more sense. But wasnt it a surprise to him that she died? I thought she died accidentally while he was already on a quest to save mankind or something, or was she the manipulated whatever that was mentioned in the text? And when he said "Frank is going to kill"... donnie killed frank, thats how frank killed (but also died)?
my head hurts

A long time since I saw it, but didn't he find a maskhole in which he travelled back through time and saved the girl he loved by letting the jetmotor kill him?
Nice swenglish? I'm sure you mean wormhole, and not maskhole?

Offcourse, that is the general rule. I liked seeing how much younger Jim Carrey looked. The film has suddenly become 13 years old or something.

o ok yea. i can understand how you would feel that way. i thought those scenes brought a substantial realistic authenticity to her character. she was extremely vulnerable and confused with sexuality. and she had extreme difficulty expressing herself/"picking up". which i can understand once being younger in high school. then again i dont recall flashing my stuff to any chicks ?!?! i guess her character was an extreme case. and we are forgetting how well she acted omgolly was she nominated for an oscar or anything? sweet i think i will buy it. im looking forward to seeing it. did u like prestige?
If you liked Babel, and haven't seen it, then I urge you to get hold of Amores Perros. It's the debut film by the same director - Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.
The setup is similar - 3 separate storylines all linked together. In this case they're linked in a far more dramatic way, by a truly shocking car crash in the centre of Mexico City. All of the stories heavily involve dogs (the title translates as Love’s A Bitch), and there are some slightly worrying scenes of dog fighting. If you can get past this aspect, and you really should, you’ll find it’s an amazing film. To me Babel seemed like the Hollywood version of Amores Perros – having had its heart, guts and balls ripped out, it seemed like a shell of a film.
It was first released 6 years ago, and I can honestly say I’ve not seen a better film since.

He has also made "21 grams", which is also fantastic.

That film (21 Grams) has moments that are still etched into the back of my brain.

Yes I must agree. I felt Bable was an effort in which a good director saw Crash, and said well hell if winning an oscar is that easy... I personally would have rather watched the Deaf story line as a short film and cut out the other hour and a half. It had the best acting, and was the most touching.
Children of Men in my opinion was by undoubtably the best film of the year. Though The Lives of others was also very good.
Wes and Paul Tomas make Andersons two of my favorite directors all of all time.
In terms of the Harry Potter Movies I personally think that the third film was the best, followed by two. These two films, the third in particular where the only of the movies that seemed like actual movies and not just rushed shadows of the books. After reading book seven, I am personally for Peter Jackson directing the final film.

Bourne Trilogy is the best since back to the future. Ultimatem combines the story of Identity, and the style of Surpremacy. SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!

I thought that the style of Supremacy was quite awful compared to the first one. Identity is one of my all time favourite movies, and I felt that supremacy was a big let down. I'll have to wait another month before Ultimatum comes to Norway, but I'm really really looking forward to it.
I'll go see the Simpsons movie today Looking forward to that for sure.
