Tune into WilcoWorld.net to stream their show in their hometown of Chicago tonight LIVE 8 Central time. Which is right now. These guys amaze me at how they always sound live. They are in my top 5 bands of all-time and I finally saw them last year on only their second show on the Sky Blue Sky tour and oh how incredible was. Nels Cline is simply incredible. I really loved watching Glenn Kotche as well.

So far they have played Sunken Treasure, One By One, You Are My Face, Side With The Seeds and currently Pot Kettle Black.

That was incredible. They played over 3 hours and played the biggest amount of material I've ever seen a band do at one show, spanning from AM to Sky Blue Sky. Actually the SBS material was pretty limited ... and they did two of the only ones at the very beginning. Andrew Bird played with them on a lot of the songs as well. No wonder they decided to stream this live online - truly a special event! Tweedy joked that next year they will have to do a set of B-sides and stuff off of Mermaid Avenue. He also earlier on the night talked about playing Dark Side of the Moon (obviously for comical purposes).

I kept track of the entire set list ...

1 Sunken Treasure
2 One By One
3 Shouldn't be Ashamed
4 You Are My Face
5 Side with the Seeds
6 Pot Kettle Black
7 War On War
8 Pieholden Suite (best version I've ever heard)
9 Muzzle of Bees
10 It's Just That Simple (the song Stirratt sings)
11 Nothingsevergonnastandinmyway
12 I Thought I Held You
13 What Light
14 When You Wake Up Feeling Old
15 Summerteeth
16 Jesus, Etc.
17 Walken
18 Hummingbird

Intermission (lasted only about 15 minutes, while we got songs on the cast from The Kinks and The Byrds)

19 Via Chicago (obviously a great version)
20 Blood Of The Lamb
21 Can't Stand It
22 Boxful of Letters (hadn't heard this in forever let alone live)
23 Heavy Metal Drummer
24 Hate It Here
25 The Thanks I Get
26 Just A Kid
27 Red Eyed & Blue (one of my favorites of the night)
28 I Got You
29 Casino Queen (more AM goodness)
30 I'm A Wheel
31 Less Than You Think
- After LTYK was about 10 minutes of droning ... sounded like total chaos or like Pink Floyd was about to take the stage ... if you've been to a Wilco show you know what I'm talking about. I thought it would end up leading into I Am Trying to Break Your Heart but it ended up heading into an energetic version of ...
32 I'm The Man Who Loves You
33 Dreamer in my Dreams (total shocker of a closer)

Wow. That sounds like an amazing show! Any chances of a replay?

The show I heard was incredible, and from the setlists, their shows are increasingly impressive.

It should probably be noted that both Glenn Kotche (Wilco's drummer) and Andrew Bird who was playing with them will both be at the MUSIC Now Festival that Bryce is in charge of coming up.
