Wow what a week, got to finally see the National live NOT ONCE BUT TWICE....
Show #1 in Brisbane was great. The guys really played great considering they looked shattered and jetlagged....they still put everything in to it and played great....
Show #2....holy shit what a show!!! the good nights sleep they said they had just gave them an extra gear...this show was sold out and the crowd was mindblowin...silent for the quiet parts and losing themselves in the heavy moments....
The set list for me on the second nite was really special...from what i gather they stick to a very similar set each nite, probably to suit the instrument changes etc but we were giving a few special moments in show 2 that we didnt get in show 1....Lit up, Youve done it again Virginia and my personal favourite WASP NEST!!! what a show...
For all you fans around the world, its great that they can now get to us out here so we can all get to share in this inspirational and honest band....

Agreed - both shows were fantastic. I was front row, leaning on the stage each night. Simply amazing, and such a treat to hear Wasp Nest.

Just wish they would stay and play for months.............

GREAT show in Brisbane tonight!!!

Before the show I ran into Bryan Devendorf and had a bit of a chat with him. I asked him if they could play Lit Up for me. Very nice fella, was a pleasure to meet him.

The actually did play Lit Up! Bryan even gave me a personal dedication by name before the song!! Doesnt get much better than that!!!

The band were great... Padma was just brilliant... i'd go as far as to say he stole the show

Onto Sydney for me to see The National again & Arcade Fire!
