I've just booked tickets for both nights! Hurrah!

Can anyone reccomend somewhere cheap to stay for the 2 nights?

only seating tickets left for the thursday night but they'll both sell out fairly quickly i'd say. yay! ireland's love for them is being reciprocated!

I am liking the Snow Patrol lyrics you have there Lucky You, one of the few bands I love more than the National:)

They must have loved playing the Olympia! I can relate, it's my most favourite venue to see a gig in Dublin.

smile.gif The National are my favourite band at the moment...but Snow Patrol are close behind!

Try hostelworld.com and just go by the reviews on there...that has always worked for me in the past. Don't stay at Litton Lane hostel even if it's close to the Olympia, the showers there are a nightmare mad.gif !

try www.d4hotels.com.

dont think the national will play any uk dates this ime as im positive that any band playing atp has to sign a contract saying that the atp gig will be the only uk gig that they will play around that time

Kinlay House isn't far from The Olympia and is a pretty decent hostel.

You can count them in for Oxegen as well.

I would have done but booked my plane tickets after the first 2 gigs were announced and cant afford to change them.

I'm guessing you're in for all 3 then?

Two Gallants are the support band according to Last.fm

Oh, what an EXCELLENT double bill! I'm jealous. Two Gallants are absolutely amazing live, one of the only other live bands I've seen that comes close to the National's standard of being completely unassuming-looking and then BLOWING YOU AWAY.

Yeasayer are playing Dublin on the 13th so I can't see all shows... Life's brutal!! smile.gif
