i'm also currently homeless too, which puts an interesting spin on things.

Well kalqq directed me right into this topic.. i'm in 11-28.. Will bring a friend and maybe 2 more.
About the 11 euro.. Melkweg is a small venue, the national is not "big" in the Netherlands (99 out of 100 people will answer no if asked about the national). Including fees i ended up paying 18 euro, i have to drive there from Rotterdam, park my car in Amsterdam (will cost more than the ticket) i need to drink and eat.. all in all the concert will cost me 60-70 euro (including a shirt i want to buy:) )
Oh well..

I've seen some setlists without ada on it.. don't forget to play it in Amsterdam

Who's coming? Santa Clara would be ace!

I'll be there as well, finally I'll see them live!
Btw, the subject title still says old hall, but the gig has been moved to the Max some time ago. As I'm sure everyone knows already.

Didn't even notice! I'll be trying to record the show tomorrow with the onboard mic in my Sansa E280 mp3 player, recording in 160kb/s mp3. It will be in my pocket of my shirt, stuck with some kitchen paper. Not professional at all, but maybe it will turn out ok. I'll use Hayden as a tryout of the quality and the volume levels!

I'm leaving for Amsterdam in about half an hour. So excited!

It was fantastic! I had to leave before the encore to catch the last train though... The setlist was pretty much the same as previous nights, but on the setlist - I had a quick peek before they came on - the third encore said Virginia (or City Middle), so I'm really curious which one they played cause I was already on my way home...
I hope the recording went well too, wapz.

They played Virginia. I recognized the opening lines, and after that I had to go as well and I was gutted, because it was an amazing performance by the lads. Incredible. Bad time management though, I mean, like a quarter of the crowd had to leave during the encore to catch a last train home.
Gotta go get some sleep, but just wanted to say incredible performance. "Daughters" was just totally off the charts, and I loved how Matt went off the microphone during the last lines to just yell them into open air. Amazing, so much emotion that man. Beautiful.

Thanks.
I took a crappy upside down pic of the setlist with my mobile phone from the first row before they came on stage, will post it in the setlist thread tomorrow if no one else beats me to it.

They played allmost the complete cd boxer, except for Gospel. Further I can recall Abel, mr. November, All the wine, Secret meeting, Soho riots and I'm still missing some...

Wednesday 28th of November - Amsterdam - Melkweg The Max
Start A War Mistakes For Strangers Secret Meeting Brainy Friend Of Mine Slow Show Squalor Victoria Abel Wasp Next All The Wine Racing Like A Pro (bloody fucking excellent) Ada Apartment Story Daughters Of The Soho Riots Fake Empire
-Encore- Green Gloves Mr. November Virginia About Today
I kept the setlist in a new sms, so it's definately ok. About the recording? Well, it sucked ass. Will not post it, it's not worth listening to. Better check out the video footage from another show, which is mostly similar and sounds 10x better!
Virginia is quite ok live, but would have preferred City Middle! And missed out this time on Baby, we'll be fine and Karen. Better luck next time!
